-Simulative truck scale developed by our company is 4th steel balance body apparatus, which
adopts cold-bent channel steel in U section and several closely and separately welded cavities.
The balance platform has high performances in integration steel strength, anti-distortion, and
resistance of partial pressure. This product is widely used in places such as ports, factories,
mining areas, goods yards, workshops and warehouses etc..
-This platform adopts mixed structure of type and U-shape beams to ensure the high intensity
and good rigidity of platform, the safe load of which is over 150%. Characteristics are given
as follows:
-The cross section of platform consists of several U-shape beams, and longitudinal section
consists of type beams. Every section of platform has 5-6 U-shape beams with height of 310~340mm
(according to different capacities) and subsidiary beams, which ensure the rigidity of the whole
platform. Other weighing scale manufacturers choose channel steel as the structure and only two
main beams exist in platform, which result in short service life and easy distortion
of platform.
-There exist three general structures of platform in China: the first generation/large beam type,
the second one/ group welding of steel boards, and the third/channel steel group welding. All
the above are simple in producing, and the rectangle section of platform by manual group welding
is easily distorted. But KEDA introduced the moulding equipment of U-shape beam and adopted
the U section group welding (the fourth generation), which makes the whole structure and rigidity
of platform more outstanding than other products in China.
-The steel of platform is provided by domestic large and well-known steel plant. The welding
quality is greatly improved by adopting CO2 protection welding. All the lumens inside platform
are completely sealed up, not easy rusty. An under coat of paint is made over the steel plates
after rotoblast. Then is the finish coat used in ship. The thickness of paint is 100 microns,
which is wearable, anti-corrosion, and resistant to press, acid and alkali.
-To ensure platform rigidity, all the scales have to pass strict tests before leaving factory.
All the welding lines of main components are processed by supersonic inspection. The platform
can be launched only after full-load and overload tests. It is the strict technological processes
and tests that ensure the super quality of kEDA product.
-Material and specifications: the faceplate of platform is the hot rolling Q235A steel plate with
thickness of 10 mms; platform slab is the hot rolling Q235A steel plate, with thickness within
8-12 mms; the soleplate, which is the so-called U-shape beam, is the Q235A steel plate with
thickness of 6 mm.
